Carved Glass Cross
Lavant
This visually suspended glass cross forms the centre piece of a gable window. Within the body of the glass the cross rises in the form of natural patterns, textures, and the image of the dove of peace.

The carved and polished art is low relief and has a sculptural quality. As a result the work is greatly enhanced by a backdrop of trees and foliage which create contrasts within its surface.

It was installed at St Mary's in 2008.
