Hurstpierpoint College
Hurstpierpoint
A progressive and dynamic work for this Woodard School. The north transept window of Hurstpierpoint College's chapel is entitled 'Fire & Water'.

It represents two significant elemental Christian symbols combined. The piece makes a big impact on the imposing scale of the chapel from within, and projects an alluring image facing into the community. The firey design reflects the faith, spirit and vitality of the college.

The installation was donated by John Taysom.

The window is made from enamelled, laminated, kiln-formed, and toughened glass. The first of its kind in the UK. The 20 sqm window was created in 2010.
