St Margaret's Art Glass Facade
Angmering
In 2009 a double art glass facade was added as part of a major re-ordering and extension to this listed church in Angmering.
The design themes for the facades represent 'welcome', for the new entrance, and 'the church in the community' for the office areas.

The 50sqm of art glass is a principal feature of this east elevation extension forming a new entrance and foyer to one side and new functional space and office on the other. The enamelled, carved, stained, polished, laminated and toughened art glass facades face into the village, to provide a lively and inspiring approach to the church whilst enhancing the interior.

This project won a Sussex Heritage Trust Award and was Joint Community Winner of the RIBA Downland Prize 2009.
